§ 32-5. Noise in residential areas.

  • No person shall congregate between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. because of or participate in any party or gathering of people from which noise emanates of a sufficient volume so as to unreasonably disturb the peace, quiet or repose of persons residing in any residential area. Any duly authorized law enforcement officer may order all persons present, other than the owners or tenants of the dwelling unit, to immediately disperse in lieu of being charged with violation of this section. Upon direction of authorized law enforcement officers, owners or tenants of the dwelling unit shall immediately abate the disturbance and, upon failure to do so, shall be charged with violation of this section.
