§ 32-2. Damage to or destruction of public property.

(a)

Generally. No person shall mar, injure, deface or destroy any fence, guidepost, sign boards or awning in any street, square or public place.

(b)

Shade trees. No person shall cut down, remove, injure, deface or destroy any shade or other trees growing or being in any public street, lane, alley common or other public ground in the city without the permission of the council.
